No worries. I usually wait a few weeks after a release to install it, in that way they iron out the teething issues before they effect my blog! This time I was just to eager to try it out straight away. No regrets though. It’s just forcing me to learn how to do things myself instead of relying on plugins.

I installed the new version of WordPress on my blog yesterday and am very happy with the new version. I had some problems with various plugins I use and had to disable them which was a bit of a shame. The tagging system looks quite cool though, the backend seems quite a bit faster due to some nice new javascript apparently, and I am pleased to let you know the WYSIWYG is much improved. It has more options avaliable, and looks like it allows for seemless copying and pasting from Microsoft Word, about time!

These are nice additions to have to the default WordPress setup. But I concur that it would be great if they can get rid of those ANNOYING bugs in the editor.
