RSS Feeds - My Collection

The old adage goes, “you are known by the company you keep.” If you think about it, the same principle may apply to the RSS feeds you subscribe to! I think it is important for any blogger to keep up with trends and ideas by reading others’ blogs, and what better way than to subscribe to sites that interest you?
I try and limit my collection to about 50 RSS feeds, because I just can’t keep up with more than that. I check all of them in my Firefox Live Bookmarks daily and then click only the headings that perk my interest. Among my feeds are a few that I hardly ever read, but I keep them in case something interesting pops up. I know that using Live Bookmarks is a little old school and that there are more efficient ways of managing your RSS feeds, but hey, I like doing it this way.
Just for fun, I have decided to share my current collection of feeds with you. I have also loosely categorized them according to subject:

Along with these sites I subscribe to the blogs of personal friends and of course my own blogs to keep an eye on things.

Great list, there were quite a few I never came across before. But I did have a lot of them already as well. I think you should read doshdosh.com It has great articles about blogging and increasing traffic.

Thanks for dropping by, Johan. I must tell you, Styleboost was the first design gallery I ever came across on the web and it remains a favourite. I have been following it since about 2002!

Neat list. Subscribed to a few up there like digg, PSD Tuts, Smashing Mag (love it!), and more. There’s also http://www.good-tutorials.com, web creme and Endgadget… meh it will be too hard to list all my recommendations out. I liked vectips in that list as I like working with Illustrator.
